Very small portions for high prices, with many of the dishes we ordered something was missing, for example ice cream or plums, beer was generally empty, didn't eat so well, very unfriendly waitress / owner. Otherwise it was ok overall.

The traditional restaurant is very neat and clean. The host couple is very friendly and always takes care of the guest. The food was nicely arranged and deliciously prepared. Unfortunately, tourists do not seem to find the restaurant ... a mistake not to look for it, especially since the prices are also friendly to holiday funds 😃 We will definitely be back. 😋

We were here for Christmas dinner. The food was delicious, good middle-class and very well presented. Funny was the cart full of crap that is actually served in a small cart! Our service was very friendly, not pushy, nevertheless attentive, if the drinks were slowly empty, just right! Looking for good, tasty, traditional cuisine? You will find it here !!

Alt Ems is a cozy restaurant that specializes in home-style cooking. The menus are lavish and tasty. In terms of price, this restaurant is also extremely affordable, which is really not a matter of course given the quality on offer. Anyway, my company and I were very satisfied with the food. I had ordered a hunter schnitzel with fried potatoes. The hunter sauce was spicy / peppery and was garnished with lots of mushrooms. The fried potatoes were well seared, as it should be for my taste. The "cart full of crap" made a lot of looks and tasted really appealing to my companion. For us it is certain that we would like to visit this restaurant again. A clear recommendation on my part.
