We were here for Christmas dinner. The food was delicious, good middle-class and very well presented. Funny was the cart full of crap that is actually served in a small cart! Alt Ems is a cozy restaurant that specializes in home-style cooking. The menus are lavish and tasty. In terms of price, this restaurant is also extremely affordable, which is really not a matter of course given the quality on offer. Anyway, my company and I were very satisfied with the food. I had ordered a hunter schnitzel with fried potatoes. The hunter sauce was spicy / peppery and was garnished with lots of mushrooms. The fried potatoes were well seared, as it should be for my taste. The "cart full of crap" made a lot of looks and tasted really appealing to my companion. For us it is certain that we would like to visit this restaurant again. A clear recommendation on my part.
